Jonathan De Vita

This is the blog of Jonathan De Vita, who holds a BSc degree in computer science (with a minor in economics) from Lancaster University and a graduate diploma in law awarded in 2005 from Manchester Metropolitan University. This blog will explore a wide range of topics related to Mr De Vita’s professional life and personal interests, including technology, psychology and consumer electronics.

As part of Mr De Vita’s degree, he studied the field of artificial intelligence and coding, deploying specialist programming languages such as C++. The latter can be used to create high-performing applications and provides programmers with a significant level of control over system memory and resources.

Education

Mr De Vita has always had the ability to understand how things work, whether it be the human mind’s inner landscape or the logical structure of machines. This curiosity led him to pursue a degree in computer science. He learned how to dissect complex systems and write the code required to make them function. As he delved deeper into the world of technology, Mr De Vita became increasingly fascinated with psychology, coming to the realisation that the best technology – far from being about raw power – is about connecting with the needs and thought processes of those who use it. He understood that this was the case, whether designing a great user-friendly interface or building a productivity tool.

Mr De Vita’s training in computer science gives him a unique perspective on how these devices function, while his interest in psychology allows him to see their wider influence on our experiences and behaviour.
